Anyone who’s put a birdhouse out
in the garden knows the joy of seeing a bird family take up residence.
The classic peaked-roof of these boards creates an attractive sculptural
piece. Hand-painted in Maryland and certified by the artist.
This piece was inspired
by a spring house occupied by wrens on an abandoned farm in Washington
County, Maryland. Don “borrowed” an old chestnut board and added the
brick to make the original artwork. The Caretakers Collection is the
centerpiece of our wall-hung sculptures. All pieces have the male and
female birds.
